Karet Tengsin Urban Village Inaugurated as KB Village

Central Jakarta Administration officially inaugurated the Karet Tengsin Urban Village, Tanah Abang, becomes Family Planning (KB) Village. It is hoped it could increase the KB participant in Karet Tengsin. 

Some RWs in Karet Tengsin Urban Village are in a densely populated area, thus there must be an intense activity about family planning

Mayor of Central Jakarta, Mangara Pardede disclosed, the activity aims to encourage the locals understand and realize the importance of family planning, happy and welfare by enough having two children. Thus it will create the qualified family.

"Some RWs in Karet Tengsin Urban Village are in a densely populated area, thus there must be an intense activity about family planning," he stated, Thursday (9/15).

Aside that, he continued, such program can control increase in population numbers, especially in Central Jakarta. He also asks the college students as generation ambassador to motivate the young generation.

"I hope you can inspire the youth the importance of family planning," he disclosed.
